Cute pin cushion swap

I received this lovely pin cushion in a swap organised by Maree, thank you to Stephanie for making this for me.
It is the one with the hexagons on top, the cupcake came from the US as well as the small chicken and the large chicken was made by my friend Deidre.

Machine binding a quilt

I thought some of you might be interested to see how I bind a quilt by machine, trim your quilt first, measure your quilt on all four sides and add about 8 inches for corners and finish.

Cut enough strips and join them all, iron and fold beginning of binding as per image.

When I do a binding complete by machine I sew it to the back of the quilt first.
This is my first slideshow/video and I hope you like it.

Happy stitching
Christine
