Overlocker

Well summer is here early, hope it will cool down for a little longer before the real summer gets here.

I am looking for an Overlocker and not sure what to buy, happy to buy second hand and if anyone reading my blog here in Australia has one for sale please let me know.

Otherwise if you have one tell me why you like it.

cheers
Christine

I have one. It is a Janome. I haven't used it for a few years or more....I have thought about selling it but then that little voice in my head and my hubby both tell me I'll want it as soon as it is gone. I am planning on making some clothes in knit as soon as I have time and it will be great for that.

I have an Elna and I love it. I have had it for about 25 years and it has never let me down. They are perfect for seam finishing clothing and seam finishing projects for the home like curtains, pillows, bedding, table cloths, and more. It has more than paid for itself many times.

I have a Bernina 007D which just sat under my sewing table. Like Jessica, I too thought if I sell it, I will want it again, so I have given it to DIL as I think she will get more use out of it than I will but I know where it is when I do need it. As you are a Bernina person, maybe you should look at one of theirs. I know we sold a lot of the Janome brand at work (bit hard when that is the only brand that you sell :)
