My baby is a Refrigeration Mechanic and look...

Our youngest is 23 and he picked up this fridge from the side of the road ( it was put out for collection) and he rewired it, new compressor and thermostat. It got a paint job and doesn't it look funky?
I think it was made in 1950, love it.

Great to recycle or better up-cycle as that is one cute fridge!

I really love it!! Probably works better than my new one that is constantly in need of service.

Wow, you'd hardly know it's the same one! Is he keeping it, or giving it to you?

That is a great fridge. They don't make them like that anymore. We had one when we were first married.

A Crossley Shelvedore! :) That looks just like the model we have in our garage as a drinks fridge. It was the first fridge Mum and Dad bought when they were married (1954) and all it has had done is a coat of paint and new rubber seal around the door. Great fridge, and I love the shape. :)
